Natural Polymers preselects raw materials that are already low in VOCs as the foundation of our design for environmentally friendly spray foam. Low VOC raw materials go through a special distillation process to reduce trace amounts of impurities that can develop in the manufacturing process, so not all raw materials are low in volatile chemicals. When developing our bio-based spray foam insulation systems, we also identify any undesirable side reactions that might occur during the foaming process. These side reactions are then targeted with special reactive and odor-capturing agents to mitigate unwanted smells or trace amounts of VOC. By balancing the chemical reactions more completely, the side reactions can be controlled using a unique combination of proprietary additives. Once these side reactions are controlled or eliminated, the result is an Ultra-Pure™️ spray foam with one of the lowest chemical emissions signature on the market and better foam by design.

While all of Natural Polymers’ spray foam products are considered low VOC by current standards, Ultra-Pure™️’s VOC is below quantifiable limits (BQL). If your goal is to find the lowest emission insulation product on the market, look no further. Ultra-Pure™️ spray foam insulation sets the bar with results well below testable limits of current standards.

Creating these environmentally friendly spray foam systems was no accident. It is the result of dedicated chemists creating a great foam using the lowest VOC ingredients possible and then working with applicators and contractors to achieve these same results out in the field. When designing high-performance, LEED or green buildings, every aspect of the structure should be environmentally friendly and sustainable—including the insulation.

HIGHLY SKILLED INSULATION APPLICATORS

Ultra-Pure™️ contractors and applicators must complete additional training and be certified as an Ultra-Pure™️ contractor to work with our eco-friendly spray foam insulation, and Peak Spray Foam Insulation is one of three in the country to be certified!  This helps ensure a greater level of quality control and that Ultra-Pure™️ provides a higher level of performance and the lowest possible VOCs.
